Our story

About Salt Shyne

Made by hand, worn on the water.

Where it started

Cork was a sailor's tool first.

Cork held nets above the water five thousand years before it ever stopped a bottle of wine. Phoenician sailors floated their nets on it. Greek fishermen marked their lines with it. Roman ships carried cork buoys long before anyone thought to seal a bottle with it. The wine came later — a second life for a material the sea had already claimed.

Salt Shyne connects those two cork phenomena into one seamless function: wearables and accessories for wine and nautical enthusiasts.

How it's made

Every piece is strung by hand.

Authentic materials

Real cork, real fishing line

Naturally harvested cork, buoyant and water-resistant, strung on fishing line the way the coast intended.

One at a time

No two are identical

Each necklace is designed and finished individually, which means the grain, the color, and the charm are yours alone.

Second lives
